Leah and Colt’s Engagement

Location: Missouri Botanical Garden - St. Louis, MO

Leah’s best friend Rachael reached out to me to capture Leah and Colt’s engagement! Rachael’s birthday was coming up, and she told Leah she wanted to do a birthday photoshoot. Little did Leah know, that was the trick to get her to the Botanical Garden! I had arrived early to meet Colt, and we came up with a game plan. I spent all week trying to figure out how I was going to pull off the engagement, since Leah didn’t know Colt was going to be there. Being organic and natural was the best way to go about it. I got Leah and Rachael into position, and then signaled Colt over without Leah knowing what I was doing. I counted to three, and told Leah to turn around where she then saw Colt on one knee, and he asked her to marry him. Afterwards, we did a mini engagement session and then I sent the two of them off to their engagement party, something else Leah didn’t know about!
